Great 2-night stay! Our family occupied three rooms and everyone (ages 17 to 50's) agreed that it is a wonderful B & B! The rooms were very clean, the beds comfortable, and the Scottish breakfasts were plentiful and delicious. The location, being only three miles from Fort Augustus, was an excellent base for touring the Highlands! Malcolm

The couple that owns the place was so nice and friendly, we couldn't
feel more welcome. The B&B was super cozy and nice looking. We had a
traditional scottish breakfast and it was just amazing.My parents were
visiting and hadn't tried it yet, so it was just perfect that they
had it. As advertised, there were some deers and a stag on a field right
outside my window, so it was extremely nice. Loved the view and
everything else. I couldn't be happier with my choice.

The cute garden with loads of wild flowers and vegetables, along with two adorable bunnies and guinea pigs was beautiful!
The room was very comfortable. Nice linens, furnishings, sunlight, and privacy!
An outdoor cubby house (suitable for adults or family) with cute board and cars games made for golden one-on-one time together.

The warm welcome we received put us at ease straight away. We were spoilt from the moment we arrived till the moment we left. Carol, our landlady was absolutely fantastic; making sure we had everything we needed, and pointing out all the local areas of interest to visit. We felt as though we were visiting a very dear friend, and were so impressed

Will definately go back. - I couldn't really complain about a thing, Carol was lovely and really welcoming, the room was superb and clean and the breakfast was great as well. I would definately recommend. - The Caledonian House was excellent, good rooms and a nice full breakfast. Carol and Ian were both great, would reccomend to anybody, i will be staying there again in the Summer.

Abbey Cottage was one of the best B&Bs I ever stayed in (if not the best). The room was small but cozy, the bed comfy, room clean, tidy and well equipped, breakfast excellent and the staff so fantastic I was actually sorry to leave not only because of the amazing surroundings but also because staying there was so nice and relaxing.

Friendly and accommodating welcome. The normal booking in time was post 4:00pm. We needed to have a room to change clothing at 12:00 noon. The rooms are modern and well fitted. I liked the proper wine glass (not plastic) and cork screw. The bathroom was spotless, with a great walk-in shower. Comfortable bed, and well cooked breakfast. There were 'special' breakfast options available. All in all, a really pleasant stay and good value for money.
