Cardiff Castle and the Millenium Stadium, as well as a 15 minute walk
from the train station. Also, just inside the park behind the hotel

Super hotel with friendly and accommodating staff who went out of their way to help you and make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. The hotel is right in the centre of the town and this makes it perfect for short city trips as you can wander in for shopping, sightseeing and food then go back easily and relax!

Great location, good price, friendly staff, great leisure facilities,lovely modern room with some character. Didn't eat here so cannotcomment about food but menu and bar looked good. - Staff were welcoming, helpful and the food was fantastic and above all the bed was really comfortable. Would heartily recommend.

Elgar was similar to the first apartment I stayed in with this company
I have stayed in many and I keep returning as I rate them very highly.
I recommend booking more than 1 night to really feel the benefit of a home from home apartment and usually all for the price of a hotel room!

Friendly staff, warm and tasteful décor. Touching distance from Cardiff and far enough not to be disturbed by the bustle. Great for going in to watch the internationals. Didn't eat here though, so couldn't comment. -

We were upgraded to the master suite for the same rate we were paying, as there was some confusion over our booking. When we opened the door we were wowed, absolutley fantastic view over Cardiff Bay and the room was very comfortable and quite. All the staff were very helpful and friendly, will be going back and will recommend to friends and family.

I liked the fact that it was located so close to the city that I couldeasily walk to major tourist attractions. I also appreciated the use ofthe free car park. - The Mercure Lodge Hotel, Cardiff is a great hotel based about 5 mins from the centre - An excellent base for a weekend in Cardiff. I cannot fault this hotel. I stayed with my partner and our dog and the staff made us all feel exceptionally welcome.
