The staff were excellent, very friendly and great service. We had dinner on one occasion and breakfast on both mornings of our stay at the hotel and all three meals wee superb. - easy to get to , facilities were very good. staff were very helpful as one of the 2 rooms booked did not get to the hotel system. It was remedied with no fuss or problem

Elgar was similar to the first apartment I stayed in with this company
I have stayed in many and I keep returning as I rate them very highly.
I recommend booking more than 1 night to really feel the benefit of a home from home apartment and usually all for the price of a hotel room!

I liked the fact that it was located so close to the city that I couldeasily walk to major tourist attractions. I also appreciated the use ofthe free car park. - The Mercure Lodge Hotel, Cardiff is a great hotel based about 5 mins from the centre - An excellent base for a weekend in Cardiff. Would reccomend :o)

As with every time I stay there - and the main reason for always choosing this hotel in Cardiff - is firstly the "can do" attitude of the staff plus their 24/7 friendly and professional attitude, the ambience and peace of the Hotel and the feeling of security. - It was all a very enjoyable stay, from the room to the resturant.

Hotel is in a good location for Cardiff City Centre. It's clean, with friendly staff, so I think is great value for money. I took my daughter to The Dr Who Experience, it was only 15mins drive and good eating places nearby if you don't fancy being on the roads with the Cardiff mad drivers! -

Great alternative to the likes of travel inns. Highley recomend it for younger travelers and great value for money. - This is a very funky and modern hostel! I loved how the room numbers appeared on the doors as you approached them! The staff are all lovely and there is a great atmosphere in the place.

The staff are friendly and very helpful. The rooms and bathrooms are very clean and tidy. The breakfast is the most enjoyable continental breakfast I have ever seen in hostels, and there are free dinner nights. There is a living room where you can watch films and play video games. The locaton is excellent, just ten minutes walk to the castle.

Very friendly, lovely seating decked area out front for relaxing in the evening, if you smoke it's ideal.
Unlike many hotels I've stayed in the WiFi was unlimited which meant I could browse and catch up easily and it was a decent speed too. Top marks for this!

The Owner was warm and welcoming. Noticing my use of a walking stick, she offered us the choice of 2 rooms, as she was concerned for my comfort. I have never had this consideration before!! i had a great stay here, the hostel and rooms were clean and the staff were helpful and friendly, what more can you ask for from a hostel. the location is great, just a few mins walk from the city centre and the free breakfast in the morning was a nice touch

The staff was pleasant and helpful. The rooms were modest, but a great value for money and also very clean. The hotel is on a good location close to the city center, but still very peaceful and safe. Breakfast was excellent as well, fresh bread, yoghurts, fruit every morning. I would definitely come back to stay at the Beverley, especially if I come back with friends or family.

I loved the fact that it was a quiet and spotlessly clean place to stay. We had the self-contained apartment on the top floor which was perfect for us with three children. No elevator/lift but that was not a concern for us. Perfect accommodations for us...two adults and three teens. Walk to beautiful park, castle, city centre, etc. is just minutes away.
