Everything about this hotel suited my stay and I will definitely be returning. The bar was great, will live music. It was located not far from the city centre, so we drove in to do some Christmas shopping (which was out main purpose of this trip). Food was really nice, couldn't fault this hotel at all. Excellent value.

I attended a black-tie event at the hotel, but the suit hire people included trousers that were far too small!!!! I told the receptionist about my dilemma and it was not long before they miraculasly found a pair of trousers which amazingly fitted perfectly!!! We honestly can't see any reason at all why anyone would pay 2-4 times as much to stay in some of Belfast's bigger hotels. Tara lodge had Everything including location. 10-20 mins walk from City hall, about 2 mins walk from a wide variety of restaurants and pubs. Despite this, the Tara is on a very quiet stretch of road lined with classic charming Belfast brick buildings.

This is a small 'family'-run guest-house/b'n'b. The room I was in (#4) was large, pleasant and light. It had a tea tray, fridge, tv en suite, desk everything you could want. there was Wi-Fi I was pleased to remain unconnected. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and made sure you had information you needed. A great place to stay in Belfast.

The location to the Odssey Arena is excellent. It is quite reasonable to get a taxi from the Europa Bus station to the hotel for £5.00, however there is a bus stop right outside the door of the hotel. We didn't eat at the hotel so can't comment on that. The facilities are basic but adequate. They have tea/ coffee making facility. Hairdryer. The bathroom has pump soap dispensers so if you need shower caps etc you might be better taking them with you.

The owner Gerald was so friendly and made us feel right at home. He told us loads about the area and recommended a lovely restaurant. He also had a car space kept for us right at the front of the apartment.
