  We rented the family suite, 2 bedrooms and a bath. There were three adult women shoppers sharing the space. We tried to see every site in England. Actually we saw quite a lot from this location. It is SO close to everything. Bath, Stonehenge, Avery, Laycock, Longleat, Salisbury, and Jane Austen at Chawton. We had a wonderful time. I highly recommend the Old Parsonage - We loved everything about Old Parsonage House. We had the family suite which was perfect. Our hosts could not have been nicer (even gracious when we went out for the evening and took the wrong key!) Breakfast was superb. The village is beautiful but only a short distance from the City of Bath.

  I was very impressed with the Woolpack - it's a really nice village pub with a warm, friendly atmosphere and very good value restaurant-quality food. The room we had (superior double) was huge and had a spare bed folded away in the wardrobe. The place is tastefully decorated and clean and there's a good deal of choice on the breakfast menu. Bec... что говорят » kington itself is a lovely village - there wasn't a lot to do other than sit in the pub (which wasn't a problem) but Frome's not far if you're looking - This was our first visit to the Woolpack and we hope to return again as we have a daughter at school nearby. All the staff were great and nothing was to much trouble. The room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast very good. Loved the ambience of the place and the quiet location.

  The owner was absolutely delightful with incredible high standards which will become apparent during your stay. Our stay was extremely comfortable and the food was to die for! A wonderful location close to Bath city center and yet surrounded by picturesque countryside. The room was luxurious, the views glorious, the breakfast was easily the best hotel breakfast we have ever had, and most importantly the staff were incredibly warm and friendly.   We had a very warm welcome and all the staff were friendly and helpful; room was spacious, clean and functional and the bed was remarkably comfortable; breakfast was exceptional - good quality ingredients and perfectly cooked to order; later than usual check-out time was an added bonus.   The Archangel was easy to find. We reported to reception and were met by a young and enthusiastic lady who welcomed us with a genuine smile. This person took us on a quick tour of the amenities before showing us to our room which was everything the booking site said it was. I was so impressed that on two occasions I sent my compliments to the Chef, something I do not do lightly. I even learnt - Loved the whole feel of the place, great hotel layout , staff very friendly . Room no 5 with till top bath really nice , mini bar with soft drinks and real fresh milk for coffee & tea making facilities . The creaky floorboards all added to the olde world atmosphere . Would definitely recommend . Evening meal good and reasonable price & breakfast good with hot & cold options .Very central location . Great place to stay !
