Staff were very friendly and helpful. The downstairs rooms were lovely, it's easy to see what a great house the building must once have been. The room was excellent value for money, especially as the price included breakfast, and the location is good, only 10 mins walk down the hill into Bath. Don't let your satnav take you through the scary backs

V friendly staff - good setting up the hill from the city but with a fine view from upper floors - bedroom was functional clean comfortable with a v powerful shower - and although the decor was a little tired and dated it added to the overall feel of an old English hotel from years ago - so whilst that could seem negative in fact it added to the fun of the one night stay.

The room was comfortable with tea/coffee making facilities and a big bathroom. A great state of the art gym with all the machines and weights you would hope for- these seemed almost brand new! The room was so much more than basic. We found it very inviting as soon as we walked in. The evening meal was done to perfection, and breakfast would satisfy anybody. - The staff were all very efficient and friendly and the surroundings were second to none.

All of the our stay was excellen. From the moment we arrived and greeted with smiling faces, and very time we saw a memeber of staff they would always smile and chat to you. Also if you required anythimg it was done straight away, with no problem. The rooms were lovey, breakfast is a must!!!With lots of home made products(the best we have tried)Location was excellent, the staff when asked about walks they would print off directs and advise good walks to go on. The bathroom was huge, it was the size of a bedroom and had a large window, seperate shower and tub and lots of space, the bed was very clean and comfortable and lots of room in the bedroom as well.
