  Staff very friendly. The hotel has character and is cosy. Loved the open fire with the comfortable chairs and the books on the coffee tables.   A warm welcome, with an open fire in the guest lounge, good whiskies in the bar and a very comfortable room all made for an excellent stay. The house is at the end of its own private drive just outside the town, so it is nicely secluded and quiet, with views of the Cairngorn mountains, but easy walking distance to the towns facilities.
