The location of the hotel was perfect. Just off the motorway, but set in lovely wooded gardens so therefore not much noise. In fact, no noise, with window closed! Breakfast was great, plenty of choice and something for everyone. Would def recommend this hotel, and would use it again myself. - Pretty good actually, free swimming pool, gym facilities

The staff were friendly and very helpful.
The breakfast was delicious. The room was very clean and there were plenty of tea and coffees sachets to keep me from being parched in the hot weather.
While the toilet was a very small room I was happy that at least it was en suite for my convenience. -

Accommodation, service and cuisine was exceptional value for money Staff were friendly and helpful in Reception. The room (which was an upgrade) was lovely, wonderfully comfortable and beautifully appointed, all in all a wonderful hotel in which to relax and unwind. The booking got messed up, booked a superious suite, got given a twin,changed to a exec double at a reduced rate, promised free wine thatdidn't arrive and got a massive discount because of all the problems butStaff were very good at resolving these problems with no fuss so stillmade it a very enjoyable stay - whilst being a large hotel it retained

I really liked the warm welcome we received from AJ, who made us tea and coffee with some very tasty cake on our arrival. AJ was very accommodating and offered for us to use her fridge to keep our drinks cool etc. All you have to do is ask and nothing appeared to be too much trouble. What a lovely lady. Perfect hospitality! We spent 3 nights and we got all the help we needed and also a great full English Breakfast! 10 minutes walk from city center, was perfect for us. It was also easy to park the car right putside the door. Thank you for a pleasant stay! -

It's very easy to arrive in the house from the Central Station and it takes only 15 minutes walking from the house to the city center. Guest house is in a quiet area so that at night you can rest without being afraid about the noise of the cars or the people around. The staff are very kind, they helped me and recommended me many places to visit in

Having travelled extensively for many years, this is the best B & B I've stayed in. Although there for only one night, the good-humoured hosts Jim and Josie went out of their way to meet my requirements. Hunters Lodge is homely but immaculately clean and I hope I have the opportunity to stay there again in the future.

Staff were great, very friendly and efficient. Our room was small but comfortable and we liked the artwork theme. we made this booking as were working away, this was the first time we had opted to accommodate the guys in a serviced apartment and it worked brilliantly, the apartment was clean well equipped and it meant the guys had the comforts of home whilst working away. have already booked a second weeks stay. -
