  I stayed at the Avon Causeway due to my lack of organisation and the designated hotel for a friends wedding was full. I'm glad it was. The staff were friendly, the room generously sized and with 'proper coffee' available. Unfortunately I did not sample the dinner menu due to rejoining the wedding party, but it looked fantastic. Recommend. - Had a wedding to attend in christchurch, so just looked for a reasonable priced place to stay. We were very impressed, it is the old Hurn Railway station and breakfast was served in the pullman carriage, it was lovely. Very clean comfortable pub, with lovely beer garden and very good food, wished we could have stayed longer.

  All the staff were very helpful and friendly. Being near the main road thought noise might be a problem, this it fact was not the case, maybe because our room was at the back of the hotel with a good view over looking fields. Room and bed very comfortable. Breakfast served from 7am was of the highest standard.   I booked two rooms online for the following night for myself and husband plus my very elderly parents. I requested level access if possible and Debbie was absolutely brilliant calling her other ground floor weekend guests to ask if they would mind moving upstairs - they didn't - and making sure there was a seat in the shower. Faultless! - The hosts, Debbie and Peter, were really lovely and made us feel very welcome. The breakfast was delicious and a good price. I wish we could've stayed longer as it was a really lovely room with a huge bed and sitting area in the bedroom. There's also a communal area downstairs which is very homely. The beach is only a short walk from the B&B and we walked to Bournemouth beach in the evening which took around 30 minutes.

  As soon as we drove up the drive, Seamus was ready to greet us. The welcome was warm and throughout our 3-day stay we felt like house-guests and not customers.
