  We liked everything. Felt totally at home, so much so that we sat on the lounge floor in front of the 'real' fire each evening with the news papers and a drink. How relaxing is that? The people running the hotel were so friendly and helpful. We would recommend it to everyone. Only 8 rooms, but worth a 5 star hotel. Spacious room and bathroom, swimmingpool and jacuzzi ! Amazing soundproofing - there is quite a noisy road outside, but we couldn't hear it at all, I was also surprised how busy the breakfast room was as we hadn't heard any other guests. After checking out, I was able to leave my bag at the hotel until I needed to the railway station, several hours later.   The size of my room was very pleasantly large and it had all facilities stated, and they all worked properly. The bed was very comfortable and the room was warm. I asked for a sea view and the sea view was amazing, I booked a single and was upgraded to a double for no extra cost - wonderful value for money. I found the hotel staff to be very helpful and friendly, and the hotel comfortable. The location (I had a room overlooking the Bristol channel) with the added bonus of being able to watch the tame pheasants and squirrels and other sundry birds below my bedroom window, was idyllic.
