They made sure we had a quiet room towards the back (furthest from Sathorn Road, and not on the side facing the Australian Embassy, where the traffic noise seems to come in more). The room was clean and comfortable, with shower, jug, fridge, etc. in working order. Not very far from some nightlife and night markets you could walk it but I hailed a taxi and it was only 40 thb to get there. The reception is very helpful and the manager could not do enough.

  Incidentally, the hotel was renovating their rooms and the room was not readied. The management responded well when I checked into my room and I noted that there was a smell coming from the refurbishment of their furniture. I was immediately apologized and was told they were in the last phase of their room renovation. Anyway, I got an upgrade. Going in and out was very convenient through a few minutes walk to the MRT station. There were plenty of local Resturants that we can eat all day long. The Lumpinee Park was very enjoyable for our morning exercise. Staff were also friendly and polite.

Nice (however small) rooms, big safe deposit box, cabled/wireless (and free) Internet access, well maintained and nicely decorated.   I was there for surgery so I was in the hotel most of the time. The DVD free rental was perfect for me. The service staff from front counter to the housekeeping was really friendly compare to the Heritage which i stayed a few days before i changed hotel. And it is very well kept and clean. When there are many guest, you have to be prepared to wait a bit for more breakfast to be served. Taste is ok - We had a trip which required us to come back to Bangkok a few times. We received a free upgrade to a bigger room (which is always good naturally :) ) in the wing adjacent to the building where the reception is.
