  I was lucky, upgraded to the suite. Very comfortable beds, well appointed bathroom and a view of the Matterhorn. The hotel was comfortable and beautifully decorated like a game lodge.   Located near to railway station but away from the hustle bustle.we were concerned about moving our baggage to our rooms since there is no elevator but chris helped us with that.breakfast was good n friendly staff n abience very homely - The staff were very friendly and helpful.   The hotel is at the far end of the tourist strip with a perfect view of the Matterhorn. Our room had a small balcony from which you could get a glimpse, but there is a great view from the restaurant. The restaurant was good and reasonably priced. The breakfast was very good too.   Hotel is ideally located near ski lifts. Staff was friendly and attentive and offers free shuttle service to and from train station. The room was comfortable, quiet, warm and clean and the view left us speechless. Included breakfast offered a good variety of choices, including dried meats, a local specialty. We will definitely return. The view is absolutely UNBEATABLE. You are practically on the Matterhorn. The gondola silently glides almost overhead from time to time offering excellent photos. I'm not sure if the view is better from the room or the restaurant/breakfast room.

  Everything! We loved our stay at Hotel Silvana and wish we would have stayed longer. The views from our balcony were absolutely breathtaking and the hotel staff and food was wonderful. - Beautiful location, conveniant for walking & skiing. Very friendly and accommodating owners/staff. Nice dining resteraunt and bright seperate breakfast room.
