The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Overall the hotel was pleasant. We would go back but would request a floor above the third level. - Everything. Reception and the public areas retain the traditional, luxurious appearance that first impressed my wife and myself when we made our first (of four) visits to the hotel.   Just got back and everything about this place is as good as earlier reviews say it is. I was tempted not to add comments so I could keep this gem to myself. The Hotel Illa d'Or has a magnificent setting, with wonderful views both of sea and mountains; and located in a quiet spot towards the end of the Pine Walk, which makes a lovely short promenade to the centre.
