  The hostel is clean and comfortable, pleasantly decorated in neutral colours and woooden floorboards-there are also some interesting old (19th century?) large black and white photographs on the walls. The kitchen was very well equipped, and there was even an ipod docking station.   This is a wonderful hotel if you want to be located on the beach and close to the historical district. We were not lucky enough to get an ocean- view room, but it was no big deal as we didn’t spend much time in our room. We did have to ask how the air-conditioning worked, but were very comfortable once we figured it out. We loved relaxing on the b... что говорят » each which is right outside the hotel doors. If you are driving, make sure to reserve parking in advanc - the room we were allocated was amazing. it looked out over playa de la concha. it had a balcony & you could stand & look over the beach, up & down the promenade to headlands. the breakfast area was glass fronted & you could look out to the beach. the rooms were generous in size. the complimentary toiletries were generous. the staff were friendly & helpful. the location is excellent. close to shops, old part of city, transport.

  The hotel was ideally located for us as it was relatively easy arriving and leaving by car and was a nice walk ( about 20 mins) to the old town, beach and other sites. Onsite parking was available - make sure you get your room card from reception before parking car or you can't use lifts to the hotel! The restaurant wasn't open during our stay, but cafe at the front was good for a drink or a - The staff were very friendly and spoke English. We chose this hotel as we were arriving by car and didn't want to drive right into the city centre. The walk into town only takes 10-15 mins. We also loved the movie theme of the hotel and got the Bob Hoskins room. The rooms have DVD players and you can hire for free, movies from the hotel to watch, so we thought this was pretty cool. Can't comment on the breakfast as we went an ate elsewhere.

  The staff at the hotel have been the most helpful I have ever encountered. The hotel is in a superb location, the room was on the 3rd floor overlooking the bay of San Sebastian with superb views. The room was better than you would normally expect from a 2 star hotel. The underground secure parking was a definite bonus and probably a necessity. In the old town the tapas bars were great, wander along from bar to bar having one or two s - Everthing good here especially as we requested a room with a sea view and booked in the car into their secure garage. A clean bright and comfortable hotel situated around the bay and about a 30 minute stroll along the promenade to the old part of town and the port. The in-house restaurant served throughout the day and this was appreciated for a 24 hour visit. Just 7 euros for secure parking underground. We liked the whole set up and would recommend it.

  We have spent 2 months backpacking. We have stayed in albergues, campgrounds, monasteries,pensions and hotels and HOTEL CHOMIN has been our favourite! It isnt 4 star impersonal luxury....it is unpretentious, comfortable, quiet, near the beach and a lovely 15 min promenade walk to the city.   I booked this Hotel for a four night mini break to watch the Heineken Cup quarter final between Biarritz and the Ospreys on Saturday 10th April.We could not have chosen a better Hotel right opposite the Anoeta Stadium.
