  The location of the hotel was very good, very close to the old market, Plaza de Abastos and to the historic centre of Santiago. The staff were all very helpful and friendly.   We had no problems parking-and ended up seeing the hotel as soon as we emerged from the garage-perfect! It's right next to the police station, so very quiet and safe (not that other parts of the city aren't). It was a very short walk to the cathedral and the city was fantastic to wander through. The heat was on, there was a hair dryer for me to use, they even had an electric kettle and tea sitting in our room - It was excellent in all ways * it was clean, nicely designed , bright, warm, open and friendly , just around the corner from the cathedral, but with ready access to taxis too. the staff , Diego and the young woman (whose name I didn't get) were exceptionally friendly and helpful ~~ in short a delightful place !! I d stay there again ~~)

  Hospitality of the Owner. Gave great information on Cultural Activities, Eating Places, etc. Design of Apartment, simple and small but beautifully formed. Balcony, view of the City and gardens. Location, very close to the City Centre, 5 minutes walk to the Cathedral. Clean, fresh and new. We loved the idea of having a place of our own while on vacation instead of being cramped in a hotel. The owners were very hospitable and helped us with all our questions about the city and sites to see.

Walked to some restaurants in 5-10 minutes, cathedral area about 15 min walk. The location was very convenient within a few minutes walk of the cathedral. The apartment was compact but very attractive, clean and comfortable overlooking the gardens. I would highly recommend it.

  Delightful converted monastery. While the rooms were basic the building and its gardens were fabulous - we had our picnic lunch in the cloister gardens. Extremely quiet and a quiet location on the university's old campus. Good continental breakfast. Lots of free parking.
