  Wonderful 18th century style house in an extraordinary location in one of the most beautiful cities ever. We loved the hotel's room which perfectly blended modern convenience with the charm of the city and of Flemish paintings. Wholeheartedly recommended. - The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Anything we needed they provided including helping us with our luggage and calling a cab for us. When we arrived, the host came out to the front door to greet us. When we left the entire staff came out to say goodbye to us. Beautiful and quiet place, and lovely people.

  It is the cutest little hotel! Very colorful, clearly newly refurbished, very clean and tidy. And the people there were very friendly and helpful. Definitely recommended - Good location and lovely staff, nice rooms

  We loved our stay at Linden! The hotel is small, but very cozy. The room was quite small, but they all are in Amesterdam, and we felt the space was very well used. The decoration is very nice and charming, with nice details. Its fairly new and very clean. It has an elevator! Complimentary shower gel and shampoo. 10 min walk from Anne Franks House. 15 minutes from Dam square. 10 mins from central station Would stay there again. And highly recommended.

  Indeed my family truly enjoyed our stay in your hotel. All your staff have been wonderful during our stay there. I would like to especially commend Lisa for helping arrange our tour in Amsterdam. She was nice and efficient in checking us in in an instance as the rooms are all ready and check in packets are all ready at the time of our arrival. Going on an evening stroll amongst some of the most beautiful canals ever created, you'll find yourself amid some of the most intriguing sites Amsterdam has to offer (Ann Frank House, Van Gogh Museum, Dam Square...). At the same time, this Boutique Hotel is located in a part of the city which has such a neighborly feel, you'll find yourself wishing you a resident rather than just a tourist. The staff at the reception area were extremely professional / informative

  The location was perfect, less than 10 minutes to central station and close to the red light district but not on top of it. The street where the hotel is located is full of restaurants and it is just off of Dam Square, which is great for shopping. - i was very happy to find it so clean and the staff were fantastic!

Luggage check room was available to store my luggage since I arrived early in the the morning (7:30AM). - The location was great (about 2mn walk to Centraal Station, right next to the shopping area, restaurants and bars, etc...), friendly and helpful staff, nice varied buffet for breakfast, quiet hotel considering the location (even on New Year's Eve!), all facilities provided in clean and cosy room. We will definitely choose The Avenue hotel again for any future trips to Amsterdam.

The staff is amazingly friendly and helpful, the hotel restaurant serves a good varied menu at reasonable prices (15% discount for hotel guests) and the ample breakfast buffet is great!
