We were met at the apartments by Kai who explained everything for us and gave us some great tips on things to do whilst we were there.
The apartments were very clean and comfortable and the location was excellent. It was located a few minutes from Dam Square, one of the main attractions in Amsterdam. There was a great view of the river Amstel from the apartment windows with all the boats passing by at regular intervals.

Excellent accommodation not far from the center of Amsterdam, but also in a quiet part of town. Windows overlook to a nice patio, room is clean, bright, equipped with the basic necessities for a perfect stay. You can drink coffee in the morning, breathing fresh air and admiring the view.

We stayed in the basic room. Though very small, it was very well equiped, nothing was missing, from hair dryer to coffee facilities. Stayed in the suite - nicely decorated, tons of kitchen tools, two 2 piece bathrooms, lovely continental breakfasts each day and hosts that were very friendly and eager to please. The host also provided a ton of detailed directions for us before our arrival. They were also very responsive to our emails and texts.

We loved everything! Except the stairs. Our room was up 5 floors of
steep stairs but if you can get over that... The rest was awesome!
Extremely clean, very large, very well equipped, great bathroom, large
kitchen area, special comfy beds and very modern. Make to mistake, this
is top notch and shows the owner really cares to make you feel special.

rooms were large,well equipped,massive bed,clean,very good location,not in city centre,but just a very short tram ride away.the location is very good.owners were brilliant and after a quick welcome,left us in total peace.i cannot recommend this place highly enough.a place you will love instead of having to stay in busy noisy hotels,and comparable in price

The owners were exceptionally nice and welcoming. The location is great! Only a ten minute walk from Central Station. Lovely breakfast is complimentary, the common area is extremely comfortable and you can sit up on deck and gaze out at the cityscape! Highly recommend Hotelschip Gandalf!!!
