Location is very good, only 5 munites of walk from central station. The room is tidy and distinctive. Kitchen is also nice, we cooked during our stay. A feeling of Home. I will choose this accomadation again when the next time to Amsterdam. -

4:00 in the morning and they made us an early breakfast. -

The location was fantastic - loved the windows overlooking the street! The owners were exceptionally nice and welcoming. The location is great! Only a ten minute walk from Central Station. Lovely breakfast is complimentary, the common area is extremely comfortable and you can sit up on deck and gaze out at the cityscape! Highly recommend Hotelschip Gandalf!!!

A very nice place to stay with friendly and especially helpful staff. Breakfast is good, the place is spotless, and it is to very close to the sights, and the train station. Since it is a docked boat it is also very quiet.

The price and location are good, and it's interesting to stay on a canal boat. In the summer, this boat cruises the waterways of France. As long as you expect cramped, boat cabin accommodations and a staff of one, it's fine.

We were met at the apartments by Kai who explained everything for us and gave us some great tips on things to do whilst we were there.
The apartments were very clean and comfortable and the location was excellent. It was located a few minutes from Dam Square, one of the main attractions in Amsterdam. There was a great view of the river Amstel from the apartment windows with all the boats passing by at regular intervals.

Stayed in the suite - nicely decorated, tons of kitchen tools, two 2 piece bathrooms, lovely continental breakfasts each day and hosts that were very friendly and eager to please. The host also provided a ton of detailed directions for us before our arrival. They were also very responsive to our emails and texts.
