Very good value for many especially for bacpackers. Although the hostel was on a side street, you can reach Batu Ferringhi's main street in a 2 min walk. And if you don't feel like doing anything then you can also just go straight to the beach without the need to shovel your way through local merchants.

  Very Clean, Good breakfast provided, Helpful staff, Great showers, comfortable bed. As an older couple staying here was slightly out of our comfort zone. Met some great young people who were backpacking. The bus's in and around Georgetown were frequent and inexpensive.   Tofu cafe is in the heart of Georgetown but nestled in a very quiet corner of it. It's a renovated 150-year old heritage building.   Excellent and friendly staff! Bernadette & Tim were both really helpful! There is also a hair dryer in the ladies room, which is rare in hostels. 24/7 free tea and coffee.
