Very good value for many especially for bacpackers. Although the hostel was on a side street, you can reach Batu Ferringhi's main street in a 2 min walk. And if you don't feel like doing anything then you can also just go straight to the beach without the need to shovel your way through local merchants.

  Very Clean, Good breakfast provided, Helpful staff, Great showers, comfortable bed. As an older couple staying here was slightly out of our comfort zone. Met some great young people who were backpacking. The bus's in and around Georgetown were frequent and inexpensive. Walking distance to anything you'd want to visit it Georgetown and you can get buses around the corner opposite the 7/11 shop that will take you to any other desirable destinations on Penang Island. There are many guesthouses in the M - You will find a very helpful and kind owner who will provide you all the info you need to visit the island.
