  The location of Villa Landucci was really great for us. Not too far (30 minutes walk) from the center, and - and I think this is valuable in Florence - with free private parking possibility. The staff was very nice, we've got a lot advise, help, and we have got a gift to compensate a smaller issue (see in the red paragraph). :) The room was no... что говорят » t huge, but very nice, well equipped, and clean. - A most perfect place. The couple running the place, since sept 2012, were very kind and helpful in every matter. Easily accessible by car and a locked parking at the hotel. About 2.5 km walking to the centre, but shopping and restaurants just a few blocks away. Nice and relaxing garden, and balcony (or direct access to garden from the room). Highly recommended!

  We loved this hotel. It was excellent value for money. The room was spacious, the bathroom was big and clean and we had a balcony with a great view. The centre is a 20 minute walk away, but the walk down the river (past a number of good cafe's etc) is worth the effort. The hotel staff were simply magnificent and were always looking to help us with, for example, directions for days out of Florence, booking train tickets to Rome and restaurant reservations. The service in the restaurant was excellent and the serving of drinks and aperitivo in the library was a nice touch..

  I had mixed feelings about the hotel when I booked it because I never lived in a two star hotel. But as far as I understood 2-star hotels in Florence are not that far from 4-star hotels in other cities. Besides the price was very moderate in comparison with hotels in other famous cities. Located on quiet street, about 10 minutes walk to the borders of old city. There was swedish breacfast. Friendly staff also helped with economy parking places. Near the hotel some shops (for it was better than empty trip to outlet near Florence), trattorias, and Coop supermarket.
