  Great accomodation. Set in a peaceful rural area, lovely break after 8 weeks travelling. Excellent food and staff. Modern rooms - very nice, great shower. Stayed here for a night before our cruise and would highly recommend.   The great proximity to the port. We got off of our ship, took a complimentary shuttle bus to the end of the port where we were dropped off and walked under 10 minutes to this lovely hotel. It was a 4 star and definitely the nicest one around. The rooms were neat and clean and the air conditioning was quiet! Very important! As we only stayed overnight on way to a cruise we just enjoyed one lovely dinner and breakfast but was extremely happy with all service provided.

  We travelled from Barcelona to Rome (Civitavecchia by ship) it was ideal for us to stay there for a nigh before going to Rome. - Apartment was great. Nice and big with good facilities. Man at the reception was very nice. Pool next door was great!

  I travel quite a bit, but not usually overseas, I have been in Europe several times but by far the hospitality and warmness of the people at the Hotel Miramare was exceptional. Also the view of the Mediterain was awes - Friendly staff who went out of their way to help us (and spoke terrific English) We loved the breakfast and being able to have it on our little balcony with its wonderful views of the Mediterranean. The room layout was also excellent since the door could be closed between the "bedroom area" and the "entrance area". That way if one person is sleeping the other can be in a different area.

  I didn't have high expectations of an hotel so close to a sea port, but this hotel pleasantly surprised me and exceeded expectations. Rooms are very well decorated and comfortable. Staff were all most friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good and they happily let us check out an hour late. The location is perfect for railway station and cruise terminal. Taxi not required for most people.

  We had 9 people in our family group fly into Rome fco and the hotel shuttle met us as planned and took us and all of our luggage to the hotel promptly. We spent the night and the shuttle took us the next morning right to the cruise ship porters to load the luggage on the ship. We ate dinner in the restaurant and everyone ordered something differen - The hotel was close to town but not in the noise of the city. Our welcome from staff was a warm one, knowing just enough English to be helpful. The room was quiet, clean and comfortable. The restaurant had an amazing menu with something for everyone. The free shuttle to the port and ships was a perfect start to our Mediterranean cruise.
