When I walked through the door I thought 'wow!'
This is a modern design hotel built on a historic site. They even have a little 'museum' of artefacts found on site.
It's a superb safe (but quirky) option for those worried about conditions in Georgia.

The food at Citadel Narikala was amazing. The portions were right on par
with other places in the city and the quality was just as good, if not
better. The staff at the hotel (both front desk & restaurant) were
welcoming, nice and very professional. I would highly recommend this
hotel to anyone wanting to be pampered and don't want the big chain
feel of other hotels in Tbilisi.

I would strongly recommend this place for at least three good reasons:
1. Fantastic owners. They are really willing to help their quests and arrange every thing to make your stay comfortable. Just ask and they will help you with everything from airport transfer, arranging local trips, car rental to recommending good restaurants :-)

Nice place, some communication problems with the owners but everything gets sorted out. Great location, right next to old city and the airport bus. Metro is a few 100m away. Don't pay more than 30 GEL for the taxi ride from the airport, taxidrivers are quite aggressive there and will rip you of. Better to take the bus if you know where you're heading.

This is a family run hotel tastefully converted from a old Georgian house right in the centre of the old town where all the action is. Double glazing keeps it quiet though.
