this hotel is beyond my expectation with good location and friendly stuff. I do not feel any noise as described by other comment. It is a good choice to stay in St Malo. -
Great location inside the Old wall of St Malo. Has a garage which is a major plus and is in a quiet position but minutes from everything.

We only stayed one night but it was very comfortable and welcoming.As
we had an early ferry we missed breakfast but had coffee and biscuits

Helpful staff, clean and attractive rooms, excellent location. Connecting rooms helpful as we had children. Hotel has been transformed since I stayed there 25 years ago! We loved everything - the location so close to the lovely old town, the sea view from our side balcony, the well equipped kitchenette, the huge bed, the modrrn decor, modern bathroom, great shower, nice towels and toiletries and the staff. Room is big and clean, all daily necesities are available, bed is quite comfortable.
Reception staff very kind and helpfull, they gave us list of best local restaurants and advised which are the best - we tried 2 of 4 and both were perfect.
Parking is inside hotel and spaceous enough for big car.
Hotel located outside of old sity but it takes only 10-15 minutes walk and the route is going along seaside, so it is very pleasant.

Хороший завтрак, качественная еда. Небольшой чистый бассейн. Вежливый персонал, но не все говорят по-английски. В номере большая ванная и есть беде. Туалет отдельный.

Parking. Enjoyable walking distance (along seafront) from old Saint-Malo and its great shops and restaurants. Friendly, kind and welcoming. 1st rate swimming pool, coffee available at the bar in late evening, excellent room, adjustable bed, multi-channel tv and breakfast. And all a few minutes away from our ferry port in the morning. We'd gladly return and probably will.

Hotel was beautiful, very elegant, the staff were very friendly and accommodating, we travelled with an 11 month old baby and they offered us use of the microwave, washed bottles etc. The location of this hotel is also excellent, away from the hussle of the city but only a 20 min walk away along the seafront, also the parking on site is very hand

Villa Esprit de Famille combines the best features of a hotel and a B and B. It's friendly and family run, comfortable and immaculately clean and set in the beautiful village of Rotheneuf, part of Saint-Malo. Rooms are spacious; breakfast is heavenly as they use local produce and Jean-Francois makes his own series of jams (I'd particularly recommend the apricot and rosemary!). Very pleasant welcome from receptionist. It has 24 hr reception. We could park immediately outside or anywhere on the road without paying and apparently it is a non-problem area, so felt safe to leave belongings in the car.
