It was easy to find in St Malo which was a bonus! Lovely new hotel right opposite the beach. Good parking and very pleasant and informative staff on arrival who showed us our room. Lovely room. We did not use the swimming pool or spa but I expect that it would have been very good. A top class restaurant is within the hotel but we had a drink at the beautiful bar instead. Room was massive and nicely furnished. I loved it here and left completely revitalised. My only regret is I couldn't stay longer. I'll definitely be back in the future.

Wonderful place to stay in Rotheneuf, a quiet area of St-Malo, about 7-8 minutes drive to the Intra-Muros. Villa Esprit de Famille combines the best features of a hotel and a B and B. It's friendly and family run, comfortable and immaculately clean and set in the beautiful village of Rotheneuf, part of Saint-Malo. Rooms are spacious; breakfast is heavenly as they use local produce and Jean-Francois makes his own series of jams (I'd particularly recommend the apricot and rosemary!). The village has a beautiful beach, an excellent baker, butcher/traiteur, creperie and sea-food restaurant and a shop

Very friendly hotel staff and excellent location! - The situation of the hotel and room meant a great view of the beach. It was also within easy walking distance of the town, with many restaurants and bars. The room was nicely decorated and furnished and very clean. It was also nice to eat a good breakfast in the tea room overlooking the beach.

Quite a good location right on the beach but it was quite a walk into town. Beds were comfortable and room was clean. area lovely and quiet so had good nights sleep. Hotel has a little outdoor restaurant over looking sea which was very pleasant. -

A superb hotel fully renovated. very clean, very quiet. Breakfast was excellent. Clean bed and nice shower booth with hot water helped me to relax after long drive from Paris. We could not have made a better choice! Cosy comfort and neat style, optimally located for a nice walk alongside the beach promenade to intra muros, and a super view at breakfast on the surfer in the ocean. Dear friendly hosts, we'll be back!
