Cyclists welcome, secure area to leave bicycles.

What a fantastic setting right by the seaside. Plenty of Restaurants in the area to accomodate all tastes. Easy to walk through Town. Friendly Staff. Would recommend you book a Parking beforehand if travelling by car - only 4 and area is very busy. -

Cherbourg is a quaint historic town. The hotel is on the waterfront with a scenic view. We were able to walk to the hotel from the ferry dock. This was our second stay at the Hotel Chantereyne and once again we couldn't fault it.
The staff are helpful and welcoming and have good knowledge of the area. The beds are comfortable and the rooms spotless. We loved the modern bathroom and the superb shower. Also great location, just 5 minutes from the ferry port and the town.
All in all a first class hotel.

Clean, comfortable and convenient. Great location with free shuttle bus to the Mont every 10 min stopping just opposite. Quiet and good value. We had a room for 4 with 2 twin beds on an upper level and w dbl on ground. Nice clean bathroom. Great formula. -

This was a overnight stop after ferry crossing, conveniently situated and easy to find. The set up of the family room was very good, beds were very comfortable. Fortunately after a long day travelling we were pleased to see the hotel restaurant was still open and the staff were friendly. Good breakfast choices on self service buffet. -

There was a resturant on site. We booked a family room and it was very adequate for our one night stay, however it would have been very cramped for a longer stay. I had booked the wrong night,. but the gentleman was happy to change the night for the night prior with no extra charge, he was really helpful. Bathrooms are great, rooms clean, towels big and fluffy. Right on the railway track but couldn't hear a thing. The room was great - very spacious with a separate area for the children's beds. Nice bathroom accessories and even tea/coffee making facilities in room (unusual in France!). The staff were helpful and friendly. There was a shuttle bus from almost outside the hotel directly to Mont St Michel, so could leave the car in the hotel car park. We had an excellent breakfast which was free for the children.
