Enjoyed 3 nights of luxury during 5 weeks in France. Loved the quiet location (car GPS needed to find it the first time), but only a short drive into Carcassonne. We received an excellent welcome from the owner who supplied us with full information about the area which we wouldn't have got from a travel book.
The chateau has been restored into a contemporary hotel with excellent fittings and wi fi. Our suite was very large, comfortable and quiet. The hotel is about an 8 minute drive from Carcassonne. It is worth visiting the Canal du Midi at Trebes and the picturesque Legrasse.

The veranda restaurant overlooks some superb countryside, the food was delicious and good value with an interesting selection of local wines. The staff were friendly and informative. -

I loved sharing Frans routines (observing ) with her animals, birds and
chickens. Seeing all the small birds in the cherry tree at breakfast
was the best sight I've seen for ages. We were able to quickly

Beautiful location, great rooms and amazing food. We stayed there with our 6 year old son and he was made feel very welcome too. The staff was very friendly and helpful. This is a terrific place. This is a lovely hotel - beautiful brand new large bedrooms in recently renovated section. Olivier, the owner, could not have been more helpful and predictive of our needs. Clean, huge rooms with modern decor, restaurant and wine list fantastic. Highly recommended for a stay in the Aude Valley. -
