The room had touches of extra effort from the decorations to little candies left on the night stand. The staff was incredibly helpful and pleasant, the breakfast well priced and delicious. 5 star it is not but if you are looking for old world French, which we were, it is excellent. The hotel was located in the middle of our transportation needs and we found the getting around from there was very easy. The food,wine and cheese was very good. if I return to Caen this will be where I will stay. -

We wanted a quiet hotel that provided a base to visit Normandy. The location of the hotel just outside the city center is fine with easy access to everywhere. Everything!! If I had a complant, it would be about internet access. We
were allowed to use the manager's computer to print off a
reservation, but only because she was not there on the weekend. The
restaurant, while expensive, was well worth it. The best meal I had in
France, by any measure. Very much a boutique hotel, it is only four
years old, while the restaurant is 18 and on the current Michelin list
for 2013. Parking is free, and easily accessible behind the building. I

THe staff were very welcoming, helpful and professional. As it was an overnight stop in our journey, it was good to be able to have an evening meal in the hotel and the meal was of a good standard. - Exceptional staff and very attentive to our needs. We arrived after reception closed and the staff was very accommodating
and gave us very clear instructions over the phone. The hotel was easy
