  5 star it is not but if you are looking for old world French, which we were, it is excellent. The hotel was located in the middle of our transportation needs and we found the getting around from there was very easy. The staff were very polite and helpful, and the location was excellent for catching onward transport to visit the sites as you have the train station,tram, taxi and the bus stop all on your door step.   We wanted a quiet hotel that provided a base to visit Normandy. The location of the hotel just outside the city center is fine with easy access to everywhere. Parking was easy and our room was large and spacious with good facilities.This hotel met all of our expectations, the whole spacious ambiance has a really nice look and feel to it. If I had a complant, it would be about internet access. We were allowed to use the manager's computer to print off a reservation, but only because she was not there on the weekend. The restaurant, while expensive, was well worth it. The best meal I had in France, by any measure. Very much a boutique hotel, it is only four years old, while the restaurant is 18 and on the current Michelin list for 2013. Parking is free, and easily accessible behind the building. I recommend this hote
