If I travell Split again I would stay Stipan apartment again. - Very close to the main promenade/restaurants/street shopping/port. Enroute is a very handy internet cafe. Felt very safe. Both train and main bus station are only 10-15 minutes away. Information office is also near by. Owner lives next door and is very open to suggestions to improve apartment.

The location of the guesthouse is very good, only a 2 minute walk to the historic centre and Diocletian Palace, and a 7 minute walk to the port (from where you can take the boats and ferries to the islands).   We were welcomed by Miranda as soon as we arrived and she couldn't have been more friendly or hospitable. Miranda and her husband spent time with us telling us about the city and a bit about their family. One night she even took us to a Roman food event being held within the palace.
