We liked everything about Villa Paulina although we actually stayed in Villa Lora which is just next door. Simply but beautifully furnished apartment with a balcony view which entranced us. The staff could not be more welcoming. Simple breakfast in well equipped eating area was very good. Although pool is small it was perfect for cooling dips after hard sessions of sunbathing on the comfortable loungers. Our only regret is that we could not stay longer - Brela is a perfect place to relax.

It a lovely modern flat, all you really need for a few days and we even cooked dinner for ourselves there the one night which was nice. The position is high up on the hill, so getting there is a bit of a mission if you don't have a car. we hired a scooter so was fine. the view is lovely as you look out to the ocean. The Supermarket is just down the road about 2 min walk away which is great.

This proved to be a very friendly place to stay and nothing was too much trouble! Restaurant recommendations were greatly appreciated especially as the first restaurant we tried (Konoba Matejuska) gave us such an excellent gluten-free meal we ate there again on the second night. Mirela, the owner, is one of the coolest people I have met. So friendly and helpful and insisted on buying us a beer when we arrived. It is also a beautiful apartment in pretty much the best location you could get. Great little bar, called Bar Gaga, just outside as well. Reccomend this place to anyone.
