Great room with fridge so you can prepare your own meals if on a budget! Staff were fantastic, knowledgeable about the area, helped us plan where to go, which buses to get and even helped us with setting up an Australian mobile (this was our first stop of our year in Australia)... 5 star service couldn't have asked for better hosts! we stayed two nights at this hotel. we got a specious apartment with a spa bath. everything was spotlessly clean. well equipped kitchen, and a good a/c. there is even a secure guest parking. the staff was very ftiendly and extremely helpful. location is also very good. a walking distance to mitchell street but not too close to hear the noise. even the supermarket is around the corner. and price was just right to give a great value for money. absolutely recommended.

Conveniently located, right in the city. Very attentive and supportive staff. Spacious rooms (with even spaciour bathrooms), well maintained, tastefully furnished and super clean. Lot's of restaurants, cafes and shops in walking distance.
We stayed there the first night of our trip after arriving in Darwin, but decided to stay a night longer as we liked it so much. Highly recommended!

The location to airport, city access and beyond to the great outdoors was excellent. The newly renovated disable room with adjoining family unit was very clean and comfortable and staff were very helpful, cheery and pleasant. 10min walk to supermarket, chemist, bakery etc., would certainly consider staying again. We liked the friendliness of the staff and management; It is close to a bus stop; buses ran at regular intervals; for any gripes one only had to ask; we went for a rest and had one; we recommend this place to be given serious conisideration for a relaxing holiday - it would also suit the get out and go set as well.

Great location. Staff were friendly and helpful. The facilities were also great and I like that the place was surrounded with lots of trees and gardens so that staying there was very relaxing and laid back - very similar to the Darwin vibe. I would recommend this place to other travellers and will definitely come back again. -

The Alice Motor Inn is a real gem in the heart of Alice Springs. The motel is run by a family, and both Gee and Carmel are excellent hosts. We immediately felt welcomed and, judging for their attitude to us and what we observed in their interaction with other guests, nothing is too much trouble.
They provide a well-equipped kitchen for the use of guests, as well as a laundry and line for drying clothes. There is a small but pristine pool.
We would highly recommend to anyone who wants a comf

Melaluca on Mitchell is located in the heart of Darwin and is right across from Coles. It's surrounded by great pubs and restaurants.
I booked a double bed accessible room with my own ensuite and the room was great value for money and fully accessible. I also loved that the aircon was so loud it blocked out most of the noise!

Great pool & bar! It's so warm in Darwin the pool is always being used.
Rely enjoyed my stay at Melaleuca, I was travelling along and found it easy to make friends to have fun with.
They have cleaners that work everyday, so bathroom is clean and the bedroom bins are always changed. The mess comes from other guests
