We stayed in the fall while looking at colleges in the area. While clearly geared for the ski crowd, it was convenient to Dartmouth, and an excellent value. We loved having a suite with kitchen for the price of a hotel room. To get to the supermarket in town was about a 10 minute drive. -

The breakfast had very good choices and everything was very good. The hot food was plentiful and the eating area was clean.The room was clean and the beds comfy. They also offered coffee and tea 24/7 and milk and fresh baked cookies at 8 pm. It was a very homey touch and proved to be quite popular with the guests. -

Everything! We've stayed there in the past, and found the Dorset Inn to be charming; the staff bent over backwards to be helpful; and the food was excellent. The building is an Antique and is decorated accordingly, although the facilities are modern.
