  This lodge has the best view of Mt McKinly from its back overlooking porch. When you check in ask for a room with a view. There are hiking trails. You can sometimes see Moose right outside. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Its right out side of Talkeetna, so you can go to that neat city easily. - We had my daughters wedding there.   The staff were very nice and helpful. The grounds were beautiful in a woodsy area about 8 miles from Epic Glacier. Room was very comfortable and free wireless internet. Not too far away from a Safeway/grocery store and downtown. Lovely drive to the site from other areas of Alaska.
