Hotel is amazingly clean, right in middle of strip walking distance to Starbucks and a number of restaurants. Service is amazing! Free breakfast, good coffee in lobby. Santa comes Thurs and Sat night for kids. Cookies and milk every night. Everything in Pigeon Forge has a gimmick so don't pass on this just because of Xmas theme. I loved having the river right outside our door. It was so peaceful and relaxing. The ducks, geese, and heron entertained us early in the morning and later in the afternoon. The breakfast was scrumptious every morning. The staff were all very friendly and super helpful with directions and suggestions for places to go and things to do. -

I have been going to the Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg area for the past 10+ years. As far as lodging is concerned The Resort @ Governor's Crossing ranks among the best. The location is wonderful, a little away from the Pigeon Forge "strip" but not too far away. The staff is very friendly and committed to making the stay a wonderful one. The water parks (indoor and outdoor) are very well maintained and my kids had a wonderful time. The hotel suite was very clean and had enough room for my family of 5

My husband and I are local and wanted a night to ourselves. This was perfect!!! The staff was awesome and the hotel was very clean. When we checked out I realized I had forgotten my wedding band. I was on my way to work and could not turn around to get it. I called and the morning staff was very helpful. They found my ring and placed it at the front desk for myself or my husband to pick up. Country Cascades had fresh made omelettes made in front of you the way
you wanted and the line that stretched down the hallway told you how
good they were! Then they had fresh made biscuits and gravy, belgian
waffle makers where you could make the waffles yourself so they were
hot and the butter melted on them. Not to mention fresh fruit, bagels,
orange and apple juice, cereal, and milk! Another thing I thought was
