  Room was spacious and airy. Really quiet. Solid structure, walls kept out the noise. Location - close enough to the center that easily accessible to all the main Monterey attractions but far enough off Cannery row that it was really nice and quiet when it was time to call it a night. Spacious bathroom with 2 showers which was great, especially when we were in a r - I booked the hotel on my iPhone as we drove down the coast. I knew nothing about it. What a wonderful surprise--loved the room with all the amenities. Since we arrived at 8 p.m., we didn't have time to enjoy the seating area or the balcony, but we liked having breakfast in the room. Loved the plantings and fountains. Love the location--walked to dinner and in the morning to the wharf. Charming and cozy.

  What a wonderful find! Dawn and John were delightful hosts the entire time I was there. They even went above and beyond offering a quick breakfast selection before an early half marathon run. And I returned to a full breakfast. The facilities are comfortable and cozy with sleep number beds. They had some guests staying who have frequented the place many times. I look f - The room was fantastic. The little details like the amazingly comfortable bed and wonderful linen really made the Jabberwock stand out. The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful and cheerful which helped make it a great place to stay. There was a really friendly environment and it was made all the more so with delicious hors d'oerves and wine served in the evening with all the guests able to sit and chat together.

  Service really was exceptional, just like they claim; the staff tended to your needs, greeted you at breakfast and made sure your stay was tended to throughout. The views are gorgeous, but believe it or not almost secondary--that's how much Mr. Martine makes you feel welcome to stay at his home. He has the most amazing collection of MG cars (and antiques!) and is happy to show you and describe their vintage to you anytime. - Great location and the staff were very friendly. Great for a couple looking to relax and take in the scene. The place has all the old world charm. We were even greeted by some deer in the front yard as we were checking in. Location is fantastic with good restaurants within walking distance and 17 Mile drive within a bike ride range (much nicer than doing it by car and you don't have to pay the entrance fee).
