Owner Sharon is great! Very friendly, truly making an effort to make the place the best it can be. Homemade muffins are awesome. Room was clean and smelled good. Our room even had a small fireplace. Great location too.

also surprising: while most of the motels/hotels used to provide
just coffee with some strange and not fresh buns, here we have found
fresh :) puns, juice, toasts with butter and chocolate cakes. Location
is also very great - very close to wharf and aquarium

The location was great for us. Close to the freeway and easy to get to the Warf and Carmel. The pool was large and clean with nice umbrellas for shade. Excellent location, walking distance from a mall. Close to Aquarium and Cannery Row. Honest cleaning crew also, we left something behind and called once we got home and it was turned into front desk. Thank you!

Close to food court in mall; quiet place, cleen. Good place to explore Monterey downt town, without car, saving money for parking. It was very easy to fine hotel from main hwy. It is nice room size, but microwave and small fridge will be good to have. We will use this hotel again, if we will be in Monterey area.

We have stayed at least twice a year at the Padre Oaks. The staff is more than friendly and efficient - the rooms are adequate in size but the pillows leave a lot to be desired. Glad we bring our own. The property is wonderful - all with beautiful flowers and well cared for. Its a sure and dependable inn and close to the Monterey Shopping Center with shopping and dining spots. We will be returning. Thanks, Carol

Comfortable for sleeping. Beautiful view from the front of the ocean. Only stayed one night, but was plenty for what I planned to see. Had booked for 2 nights and was refunded the second night.
