The hotel location was great as it was close to everything. I told the staff I was celebrating an anniversary and not only did they give us a complimentary bottle of wine, but they called the restaurant where we had a reservation and told them so they did something special for us. The hotel room was clean. The hotel restaurant was great.

Hotel is in a great part of the coast between LA and SF. The hotel was comfortable and within walking distance of the shops. We did drive to the old fisherman's wharf. But this was because we were out of time and tired. All part of the hotel were clean but we were a bit disappointed we could not do the laundry after 10 pm. Breakfast was good howev

Overall a good place to stay -
The hotel was good. Had a self service laundry. Some rooms have a chaise lounge which was big enough for our 11 year old to sleep on, but make sure you ask for one when you check in. The hotel is on the edge of town, but walking distance to Fishermans wharf. There is a free tram to Cannery row and the aquarium. Best place to eat - Rosines on Alverado street. HUGE portions of cake. Best breakfast - Denny's just across the road.

What a beautiful town & hotel.Stayed here for 5 days in July as we had travelled to see the Moto Gp racing at Laguna Seca. We had Yamaha & Ducati pit crew staying in our hotel. Well placed for the Harbour and bars etc. Fishermans Wharf is beautiful. must have been around 1000 motorbikes parked n the streets. Amazing place. Will definitely

The location was great for us. Close to the freeway and easy to get to the Warf and Carmel. The pool was large and clean with nice umbrellas for shade. When I arrived, there was no one at the front desk. A "motel maid" was kind and checked me in and gave me a better room than what I expected. Later, I asked the two men at the front desk for information and was given a wealth of help.

It was beautiful. Very comfortable. I booked for a group of friends and was pleasently surprised at how nice it was. We really enjoyed our stay although it was only 1 night. The breakfast buffet was delicious. The gentlemen making the omletes on the morning of June 8th did a amazing job and was very interactive with us. Its not often you remember the cook.

The room was very tastefully appointed, with attention to detail. Although the hotel is in the center of the tourist area, our room was quiet. The parking facilities were across a walkway but quite easy to get to and from. There was a good breakfast selection in the restaurant. The staff were very helpful in providing us with directions to get to San Francisco.

My husband and I came here for a quick, unplanned shopping/golfing trip, and we really picked this hotel of it's close location to all the downtown dining/shopping AND golfing. What we didn't expect, for the price we paid, how nice this place was! Everything looked new! Very nice look and feel of the whole hotel. The room is clean and towels are folded stylishly. Breakfast was great,
it included chocolate muffin, blueberry muffin, waffles, 4 kinds of
cereal, pastries, coffee/juice, bread, bagel. The room itself is
also very comfortable. I think the room is pretty sound-proof. Bed and
blankets are also comfortable and clean. Its worth the money and the
stay was great! Would come back again if I visit Monterey. The location
is very closed to Carmel, 17 mile drive.
