I had a very welcome overnight stop here after a day exploring the Redwood National Park. My room was clean and spacious, the bed and pillows were very comfy, and the water was hot. The girl at the front desk was also very sweet and welcoming. A very well-run establishment.

The lady in the office was very nice and accommodating. It's an older place but was clean & the non smoking room didn't smell like cigarettes! The maid service doesn't go into your room unless you request their service.

Checked in during a "heat wave" and the lady at the counter
was apologetic and even offered me a fan for the room. I was told no
hotel in town has a/c as it just is not needed. I was coming from
114 degree weather and it was 75 in Crescent City. A welcome relief.

The management was so very nice. The place was clean. Checking in and out was very simple. Beds were very comfortable. Lots of hot water for showers. Refrigerator, micro wave and coffee maker all in the room. Our room was very spacious.
