A large Victorian house a 5-minute walk from Shanklin Beach and Shanklin Rail Station, The Triton is an adult-only, family-run guest house with a terrace.
Each room has an en suite shower room with an electric shower, free toiletries, a hairdryer, and towels. There is also a flat-screen TV with Freeview channels and tea/coffee making facilities.
A cooked to order breakfast as well as continental options and fresh fruit are served in the morning using fresh, local produce. The Triton Guesthouse' hens produce the free range eggs served for breakfast.

Our host made us feel so welcome and has such a warm personal touch without being intrusive. The room has been lovingly decorated and offered all the usual facilities (the biscuits were really nice!). Also, we were able to bring our dog and she was treated to her own special breakfast, which she very much appreciated. The room was very clean and bright - breakfast was very good with a choice of cereals, toast or cooked full english. Jacky, the owner was very friendly.

Not so much a dislike just be aware, when bringing your car, that parking is in the street (free) or in a nearby parking lot (charges).

We missed having the air conditioning as it was very hot at night. And also a better shower but it would not put us off from staying again as these are really minor points compared with the good things.
