This 4-star Victorian property just 2 minutes’ walk from the scenic views of Shanklin’s cliff-top path provides a calm get-away just for adults. Westbury Lodge offers free Wi-Fi throughout and modern en suite accommodation. Each light and neutrally decorated room comes with a Freeview LCD TV and a refreshments tray, many with original Victoria fireplaces. Guests have use of a collection of books and games in the guest lounge which leads to a conservatory and patio area. Freshly cooked breakfasts are prepared each morning and served in the breakfast room. Westbury Lodge has a selection of menus from many local restaurants to make choosing places to eat out much less stressful. The 1.5 hour walk to the picturesque Culver Down takes guests along the coast, passing by blue flag beaches, the Isle of Wight Zoo and Browns Golf Course. Newport is a 20-minute drive away and Cowes another 20 minutes onward from there.

Myself and my adult daughter were delighted with the welcoming owners and comfortable facilities at Westbury Lodge.We had a lovely ground floor en suite twin bedded room, which I found convenient, as I am not as mobile as I used to be. The Lodge is diabetic friendly with suitable breakfast food and help with storing insulin or ice packs. Westbury Lodge is situated near the cliff lift, which can quickly take you to the sea front, where there are a large number of restaurants, serving a variet.
todos opiniões » A most comfortable guest house and spotlessly clean. We were warmly welcomed and immediately given a cup of tea on arrival. The superior double room was beautifully furnished with a spacious bathroom and tea and coffee making facilities, even wineglasses and a corkscrew were provided. The cooked breakfast was fabulous every morning, and there was a wide range of cereals and fruit available too. The owners were extremely friendly and helpful, ready with lots of good advice regarding places to v. The friendly welcome from Dave and Kath. The cleanliness and quality of our room and all other guest areas which were available to us . Freshly cooked breakfast , cooked by Dave . Advice on local area and places to eat were welcomed by us and very helpful.. Overall there is nothing negative about our stay at Westbury Lodge We would recommend it to anyone and would certainly consider returning there again .. Great welcome from Kath & Dave. Kath and Dave constantly checked with us that all was OK. I would definitely return. This is a lovely hotel.
