i booked my wife and daughter in hotel they where having dinner there,daughter is in wheel chair,and she found room very good, they thank all staff four a very nice night and lovely food thanks john. - The staff were very friendly and hospitable. On our arrival (after 3pm) they arranged for sandwiches to be made and brought to our rooms.

Good location close to railway station and within walking distance of the town centre. Plenty of parking at the rear of the hotel. I have stayed in many B&B / Hotels over the years and this one is a real find! The staff are a real team and are so kind and helpful - looking for ways to ensure that your needs are met. The food was excellent (both breakfasts and dinners); the lounge and bar area very comfortable; and the room very clean and comfortable (but note this isn't a town-hotel where every room is the same - furniture and facilities have to be squeezed into odd places). We loved our room with its huge comfortable bed and view of the church opposite. A delicious breakfast was included in the price of the room and we were given a menu on arrival to tick off what we wanted.

The owners were very friendly and helpful. Our room was very clean and the bed very comfortable. I only say the facilities are "good" rather than "excellent" because it is an old-fashioned B&B, with unmatched furniture and no pretensions. For us that was a positive, but others might be disappointed, since comfort is ahead of decor here.

Great value for money. Clean and functional. The Cherry Tree Farm was great for food. My daughter had sausage and mash £4.95 and i had lasagne £7.95, big portions. Huge desserts, share one or you may be sick!! Had breakfast at the Ibis which was £4.95, a little dear, but we made sandwiches for lunch lol, so not so bad. Went to Alton towers which was easy to find from here. Would stay again.

I was greeted by 2 lovely friendly receptionists as I arrived 2 hours earlier than my husband. No question was too much trouble to answer, they even helped with our choice of dinner in town. Again, helpful staff at breakfast. The hotel was beautifully decorated for Christmas (nothing tacky, just smart). I would definitely stay there again if in the area.

The inn was decorated beautifully for Christmas it and the staff are very friendly and helpful even though they were busy with customers when we arrived. The room was a good size and very clean, a good selection of hot drinks on the tray. Stay here if you are wanting to relax away from busy life. The setting is stunning, the only downfall being a very busy road outside, but you could not here it from inside the inn. There are beautiful walks, lovely cafes and tearooms, locals are very friendly

Spacious room and lots of picknick areas to choose from. Although the restrant was closed we were allowed to order in food and eat this at the picnic areas. Staff very laid back and friendly. Very clean and modern rooms. Very peaceful.
