  The hotel is in an excellent location to see the Lake District. The only issue is the parking. The hotel does not own the parking lot so you must pay to use it. The lot is also rather small so you may have to park on the street and move your car by 9:00 in the morning or be ticketed. - The staff were very friendly and helpful on our arrival.   Extremely warm welcome and they let me park my motorcycle indoors so it was totally secure. Very friendly. Also (free) wireless in my room. There's another greta pub over the road from this one with a georgeous barmaid! Both highly recommended. - Excellent breakfast.
