Amazing! I didn't know what to expect from the hotel or the location. What a great surprise. The Lake District, the Village of Grasmere and the Waterside hotel were great!. The hotel was spotless, great staff, room was fantastic. Amenities were great in the room and in the hotel. The big suprise was the food at the hotel. Breakfast was good,

The food was obviously of a high quality. After a walk round Grasmere the hotel's warm swimming pool, jacuzzi, steam room and sauna were a luxurious delight. The hotel is in an excellent location to see the Lake District. The only issue is the parking. The hotel does not own the parking lot so you must pay to use it. The lot is also rather small so you may have to park on the street and move your car by 9:00 in the morning or be ticketed. -

We stayed in a family room and it was very clean and comfortable. Steve
cooked us a fabulous English breakfast the following morning. He even
carried our bags and gave the kids lollies when we left. He went the
extra mile which makes a big difference when you are travelling with
kids. Would stay there again and happy to recommend to others. -

On top of that, we were lucky enough to arrive in time for dinner and had a meal worthy of a five-star restaurant. The Lynebank sets the standard for small, locally owned hotels should be.
