Hospitality was lovely - Theo very friendly and welcoming. She booked taxis for us and really made every effort to make sure we were happy.
Breakfast was freshly cooked and exactly what we wanted - even at a time we specified. Fruit, tea, coffee, cereal available all day and night. Really like staying with friends!.
The hospitality and friendliness of Theo was terrific, breakfast was served at the time we requested, it was very fresh and well cooked. The location to local park and restaurants was very convenient.

Lovely stay with lovely staff. Room perfect, nothing is to much trouble. Very relaxed and friendly. Within walking distance of all local villages, town centre etc and to all transport links too. Thank you Theo for a really nice place to stay for our short beak! :-).

Unfortunately Theo's husband underwent emergency major surgery over the two nights I was there. She struggled to honour her bookings. It would be difficult to do an objective review under such extraordinary circumstances. I wish them both well for the future.
The welcome was fine and location good for Penzance facilities. Bed comfortable. Cooked breakfast fine.

The room was damp. Theo did say that this was an issue in the house but it smelled damp in the room too. No TV in the room and the bed was lumpy (!) and the bedroom decor a little dated. I think it was a little pricey for what it was but then it was local Easter holidays.
No major gripes - no bedside lamp on side and no fruit juice at breakfast.

Room 2 needs modernising, rather drab, no TV or radio, no comfy chair. Tap needs a new washer, to turn off properly.

Tired furnishings and bedding, crack in the bath, cheap supermarket "value" breakfast goods. Did not feel clean. Expensive for what it is.
Single room untidy electric wires everywhere , no bedside table, bed
linen old, wardrobe old, cobwebs on ceiling. Double room, hot water tap
broken difficult to turn off, rang emergency no for house, no reply,
could not use tap. Price far too high for the accommodation compared to
other hotels and b/b we stayed in which were good and lived up to
their rating. Would not recommend at all.
