We loved our stay at Tor View! Lisa and James were excellent hosts and we felt very welcome staying with them. The room was clean, comfortable and had everything you could have wanted. The range of choice for breakfast was brilliant and everything is fresh and local. Tor View is a short walk from Padstow but this didnt worry us as it only took 5 minutes and we wouldnt have fancied negotiating the smaller streets with the car. Free off road parking was another bonus along with the amazing view o.

Lovely garden to sit out in. Nice touches such as cold bottles of water, variety of drinks and biscuits available free of charge. Great value for money. Will certainly recommend to others and hope to stay there gain. We thought it was fantastically clean and comfortable. The decor was very tasteful. We had a great night's sleep and felt like we were staying at a friend's house because we felt so at ease. The location was great and it only took us about 10 minutes to get to the quayside. We were very impressed with the breakfast and enjoyed looking out at the sea view whilst eating. The great breakfast- fresh cut fruit with berries and an extensive hot menu. A breakfast to rival most high end hotels. Immaculate modern room with thoughtful inclusions - plunger coffee and a large selection of other beverages on the hospitality tray in room.lisa and James are very friendly, professional and helpful. All this packed into 85 gbp per night!. I liked the small friendly touch and the owners were very helpful with the local and surrounding area and the breakfast had so much choice and was lovely!. There was plenty of local information left in and around the bed and breakfast. Including bus time tables, local walks etc. which is good when you are not staying very long. our host were great right from the start. The room and fittings were lovely, clean and comfortable. English breakfast was served to order and piping hot to the table! Wonderful place and cant wait to visit again. (The off road parking was the icing on the cake for Padstow - so unusual!) Everything about our stay was perfect. This bed and breakfast is the best we,be ever stayed at. We could find no faults in all aspects of the service. The whole place is modern, spotless and much thought has been given to even the smallest details and comfort and needs of it,s guest. Warm friendly welcome, very approachable couple and nothing to much trouble. Hospitality was excellent. They catered well for gluten-free requirements. Our daughters emailed a request to them for a gluten-free Father's Day cake. They arranged it such that it was ready and waiting for us when we checked in. A bonus was that it was from Rick Stein's patisserie! It was the best we have ever had!. Very friendly couple very clean and lots of extra little touches. Breakfast excels biscuits plus chocs everyday as well as a good variety of teas and coffee fresh bottled water every day also only 5 mins to padstow harbour walking lovely view from bedroom we had would visit again and definately recommend. Very nice accommodation in ideal position. Good value for money. Attention to detail & kindness of Lisa & James who fulfilled our daughter's request to have some bubbly for us on our arrival plus a birthday card for Roger. Would definitely stay there again if visiting that area. The room was very comfortable, it was small we knew that but it was only for one night so no problem. The room had everything that was needed and extras like fresh milk and bottles of water. Also filter coffee not instant. The breakfast was really good and the host very friendly. The location, the high and modern standard of decor of the room and the entire house, the friendly welcome, generous provision of tea, coffee, hot chocolate (including biscuits and chocs to go with it), milk and water, the delicious breakfast and the view during breakfast. Fantastic place, warm hosts, luxury extras, beautiful room, spotless throughout, excellent en-suite shower room, gorgeous view, delicious breakfast, on site parking. Can't think of anything negative at all to say about our stay at Tor View. Nothing to dislike. nothing negative to say, first class, how many times do u find that?. The room was small when travelling with two suitcases etc. Nothing. Nothing. Nothing. Everything was excellent, no complaints whatsoever. Regretably the location is not good if you have a disability. To go to the harbour area you have to descend a very steep hill which makes the return trip very gruelling! One small suggestion for improvement would be the provision of a shaverpoint in the bathroom. The wash basin in the bathroom was on the small side. Nothing. Only a minor issue but our room was right under the breakfast preparation area so there was a reasonable amount of noise from above in the morning. Parking in front of the house was a little tricky. Having to leave !!. Bathroom sink a bit tight to use and loo roll hard to reach. The size of the room was a real issue There was no room for luggage only one chair and the shower cubicle was far too small for an adult to access easily he lack of a shared lounge or sitting room meant an evening in the confined space of ones room. Nothing!. Nothing - all excellent. The shower was not good at all, it was only either too hot or too cold. The small shower may possibly challenge a larger posterior.... There is nothing not to like. Nothing. having to go home. There was nothing that we didn't like about Tor View we would go again and recommend it to people.
