  Adelaide House is located just a few minutes' walk from the centre of Brighton, and so makes a perfect base for either a business trip or a short city break/overnight stop.   The hotel was a gem, exactly what I hoped it would be. The lady, front of house, was extremely friendly, very professional and went out of her way to accomodate any queries we had about the hotel and, as importantly, the area.   I thought it would be awful based on the reviews here but was so pleasently suprised. The staff were great. The rooms are budget accomadation with far better facilities than a hostel. You get your own toilet and shower, tv, towels, full length mirror and tea facilities. For the price they charge you are really getting a bargain. Do not go expecting 5 star, think hostel and you will find it's a lot nicer than that. - Cost effective for a group of lads who would only be using the room to shower and sleep. Made to feel welcome and provided facilities to store our bikes. We got what we paid for which was a room with a television, tea/coffee facilities, comfortable beds and a en-suite bathroom with a decent shower. The hotel was near the seafront so not far to walk to find somewhere to eat and drink.
