The Elgano exceeded all expectations.
My stay was on a weekend when the Welsh rugby team were playing so it was a busy weekend in the City centre.
I arrived at 7.30pm on Saturday and even though I arrived at what seemed a busy time in their restaurant/bar I was greeted with a hello by smiling and courteous members of staff and checked in promptly.

I really loved this hotel. The staff was very helpful and friendly,
rooms were clean and cosy. Breakfast was rich - in comparison to what I
was used to in London. A good choice from cereals, toasts with jam and
English breakfast. The hotel is located 15 minutes walk from the
university and from the city center, so you can walk everywhere (except
for Cardiff Bay, that's a bit further away but there's regular
train service in the city). We stayed in a coach house accross the yard
which was an abs

We had an amazing stay. The room was lovely, spacious and spotless. We had a very nice breakfast with plenty of choices. The hotel is very well located, just a ten minutes walk away from Cardiff city centre. Lots of restaurants and amenities close by. Cardiff Castle is only five minutes away and it's well worth a visit! Susana and everybody at the

The hosts, James and Maria were most hospitable and made us feel welcomed. The room was large, very comfortable and very quiet. The included continental breakfast was varied and excellent quality and the optional hot breakfast was delicious. The townhouse is a comfortable 20 minute walk through a lovely extensive park adjoining a river to the centre of Cardiff. There are a number of restaurants within a five minute walk that cater for all types of food. We will be staying here again if next in
