The Farnham Park is tucked away in one of the prettiest corners of Farnham, in Surrey, at the edge of Farnham Park.
Farnham Park Hotel is an attractively styled 17th century barn conversion set in 40 acres of secluded parkland. Many of the best original features have been retained in the guest bedrooms, which include family rooms, twins, doubles, singles and an annex room with its own kitchenette. All the rooms have en suite bath, tv, radio/alarm and tea-making facilities. The rooms are tastefully furnished. They have been sympathetically restored and retain many of the features of the original 17th century barn. The rooms are generous in both size and proportion. The hotel's stylish, high-beamed restaurant serves a menu of excellent dishes with both traditional English and sunny Mediterranean influences. The hotel offers a warm and friendly atmosphere.

The most friendly hotel i've ever been to. The Farnham Park doeverything possible to make you feel comfortable. Very Friendly and helpful. The site of the hotel. The "laid back" atmosphere. Pleasent staff. Setting of hotel is very pleasant. Food was good and fair value.Allowed to take the dog and walking distance from our planned event. Breakfast was nice. todos opiniões »
Arrived late in the evening but still received a warm welcome. Breakfast was well cooked despite the limited choice of food. Staff willingness to deal with booking confusion. By the time the 2nd half of the party arrived, problems were solved and my blind mother's room was arranged for the ground floor with the rest of the party. The Countryside location and the staff were friendly. staff very friendly. The staff. Convinient location although hotel not clearly signed from the busy main road.My room sleeping in the roof of the converted barn. The scenery around the hotel. Breakfast was very nice. It was a very small friendly hotel, and i think that is reflected on the fact that there was only one staff we saw throughout our very short stay. He was kind and helpful. Breakfast was ok.Nothing except its proximity to the reason we were in the area. it was close to where i had my daily meetings. Hot Water. ... room mank, leaking radiators, tiny fuzzy t.v drunk staff!! for £89 per night!!!. Nothing!. it was a bit hard to find in the dark that was all. But I got good directions when I called for help how to get there. The food was disappointing with very little choice on the menu which did not alter from day to day. Very difficult to find as poor sign at night.I was given an extreemly small and cramped room; they were apologetic, but price was the same!. Shower was only hand-held. No sound proofing of any kind- could hear everyones conversations and disturbed by groups coming in loudly at 1am and chatting in corridor outside our room making our dog bark!. The bathroom in particular was poor. The "shower" was a hose attached to the bath taps, but without a wall fitting. The toilet wasn't correctly fitted - the floorboards were wonky! The hot water was far too hot. Rooms are clean but in need of refurbishment. Drinks in the bar area are limited and expensive. They had no coke or lemonade. We were charged £10.50 for a 250ml bottle of very ordinary red wine and 2 glasses of rather flat bitter lemon. Latest time for eating breakfast was 9am, quite early for a Sunday morning.Confusion about the booking, which the hotel understood to be 2 doubles and 1 sinlge. in fact it was 1 double, 1 twin and 1 single. It was quite run-down which is a pity because it has a lot of character.Very basic. Hand held shower in bath, no shower curtain, no bath mat, shiny floor: potentially very dangerous for even young guests let alone for arthritic OAP. Bathroom smelt of damp. No drawers in bedroom, so had to keep everything in my case and lift it onto bed when I needed something. Tubes of instant coffee on breakfast buffet.Room was on corner of ground floor between jitchen and dining room, so noisy. Some shoddy electrics in the rooms, sparking plugs, lights without lampshades. Bad tv reception. Felt like twin room was in back of house area, near kitchen, had to go through curtain. Leak in twin room. Nobody around to ask what time the front door was locked. No glass in the room for a drink of water.the room was a bit cold and not very clean, although it was tidy. we had two children with us and its difficult keeping them occupied, no childrens channels on Tv. lack of friendliness the breakfast was greasy and cold. there,s not much good to say about the hotel its self. the resturant in the hotel was poor .the communication between the staff was poor but that has no refection on the people themselfs.there are doing a fair job with the basic,s they have due to the fact that the main person that own,s the hotel won,t invest any more which is a shame because they could be sitting on a goldmine . Amazed it's allowed to call itself an hotel! Difficult to find No wonder money was requested on arrival, before seeing very basic, small, cold "cabin", which was located between smelly kitchen and manager's accommodation. Disappointed and disgusted. Refund of £20 given before leaving. Health and Safety might be interested in unannounced visit. The hotel was very poor. The room was poor, not very clean. Facilities were generally poor. It was dirty, the plumbing was a disgrace in one room. The rooms did not feel secure and it was overall shabby.Everything, from the staff down to the cleanliness of the room, the only good point was that we were able to book at last minute, but then on arrival we understood why that was!.
