The guest house was in a good location being an easy walk into Banbury. Free car park, we had the ground floor bedroom next to the dining room which didn't prove a problem, the staff were friendly, and
Debbie was very helpful. We would stay there again.
The room was a good price and was spacious clean quiet and had good bathroom facilities. It had a good restaurant and the breakfast was well cooked and sourced locally where possible. The staff were friendly and helpful.todos opiniões »
The house and gardens were very nice. Also the lady who ownes it is very friendly and helpful. If you are in this area, l do not think you could find a better bed and breakfast.
Debbie was very welcoming and helpful. We had room 14 with a wonderful 4 poster bed. Breakfast was fabulous. We would certainly stay here next time we are in the area.
The food was fantastic and staff so welcoming. Debbie was more than helpful in helping us relax and going out of her way to make sure we had a great weekend away.
very friendly staff, different breakfast options available, quiet location (even though it is close to the main road), within walking distance to the town centre.
Liked the staff who were really friendly. Having wi fi was useful. It was in easy walking distance of the town. Parking was good. Food was really nice.
Very friendly owner and staff, made us very welcome. The food was excellent. It was only a five minute walk into Banbury which we loved.
Fantastic room..4 poster bed, beautiful bathroom & lovely friendly staff. ..couldn't have been better.

We liked the area. Staff very helpful and friendly.
Everything was fine and we were well cared-for.
cute clean rooms with character. friendly staff.
Parking, Service, Breakfast, comfort, value.
excellent breakfast,good choice,well cooked,.
Beautiful old house in excellent location.
staff excellent
food good
place spotless.
lovely hotel- staff were so welcoming.
The aloe vera shower gel.
Everything except a bath.
The location was good with an easy walk to town centre, staff were pleasant and breakfast was plentiful. The exterior of building and downstairs rooms are in keeping with the age of the house as per promotional photos.
Friendly owner. Nice non-greasy breakfast. Considering it is on a very main road, the double-glazing worked a treat. No noise to be heard at night. Easy walk into Banbury which is delightful.
Good location, friendly helpul staff, facilities clean.
staff
breakfast.
Good position for the town.
Lovely looking building.
Good car parking area, away from the main road.
Very quiet at back of hotel. Very handy to walk into Banbury.
Breakfast wasn't too bad.
We didn't like the pillows as they were very flat and I would bring my own next time but that is a personal
choice.
Nothing to dislike.
Not having a proper shower. There was only the hand held type with the bath fittings.
Nothing. It was all great.
Inconsiderate guests which made it hard to sleep.
Nothing.
Very satisfied, and have no complaints.
Shower screen was slightly broken. Walls thin: could hear people next door talking and snoring (!).
Room quite small, wifi Intermittent.
Location.
Our room was on the top floor which was a bit awkward.
For non-Brits the smell of English breakfast first thing in the morning is not a good idea...
Nothing to comment on.
The bathroom was a little tired with dirty grouting and filthy bathmat and a handrail would have helped in climbing in and out of the bath especially for the more mature person as there were tiles widening the edge.
Our room (1) was on the ground floor near the front door so we were conscious of people coming in late and leaving early.
bathroom a bit of a squeeze !.
We were not happy with the room. But Debbie did change this for us. Could do with a small bar. Time of entry to late.
The access to the hotel was a bit tricky because of the proximity to the junction, but obviously there's nothing you can do about that.
food was a bit basic - options for vegetarians limited at dinner. room a bit small but nice anyway.
Loud extractor fan in toilet.
Evening meal not very good..overcooked and dry, a pity as service and ambience were good.
Only criticism shower room a bit small in room 16 ,but it was the last double room available.
evening meals not restaurant standard.
room on the small side
bathroom very small.
No bath.
Being unable to check in before 4pm.
The small bedroom felt cluttered & the very small en-suite had no room to move or hang towels - in need of some TLC/modernising.The heavy bed cover had a torn edging (trip hazard) and the thin sheets and blanket (with stain) need updating. The family size soap & shampoo products with home catalogue and sales pitch isn't what I expect in a 4 star guest house. Unfortunately the room didn't match our expectation from the promo photos which was disappointing.
Rooms were cold in February and rather dim looking.
Downstairs room, very creaky bed, breakfast cockery/cutlery could have been a little cleaner.
noise from other rooms.
A lack of staff 'presence' from a luke-warm welcome to checking out.
Room 5 situated directly above the lounge which proved to be very noisy in an evening.
Musty smell in the bathroom.
Dirty bed cover.
Breakfast at best indifferent.
Evening meal was poor. Didn't have first choice and kept us waiting
a long time. No tonic to go with the gin!!!! Had to pay for the meal in
the kitchen so felt like criminals.
Very small shoebox room with small ensuite no room to move.
